Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data NovaOracles collects, why, and your rights over it. The data controller is {LEGAL ENTITY NAME}, {REGISTERED ADDRESS}. Contact: hello@novaoracles.com.
1. What we collect
Account data: your email address and authentication details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile from Google.
Birth data: the date, time and place of birth you enter, used to compute your chart. You choose to provide this; you can edit or remove it.
Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the service is used, to keep it working and improve it.
2. Why we use it and the legal basis
We use your data to provide the service you asked for: computing your chart, generating your readings, and managing your account and subscription. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you and, where relevant, your consent and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your birth data for advertising.
3. Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers to run the service: cloud hosting and database (Supabase), content delivery and hosting (Cloudflare), and a payment provider acting as merchant of record for billing. They process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
4. Where it is kept and for how long
Data is stored on our providers' infrastructure. We keep your account and birth data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after you close your account, unless we must keep records to meet legal obligations.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these from your settings, or by contacting hello@novaoracles.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies and storage needed to run the service (such as keeping you signed in) and privacy-respecting analytics. We ask for consent where the law requires it.
7. Security and changes
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including access controls so that each person sees only their own data. We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in the service or by email.
