Virgo Rising: Traits, Rising Times and Ruler Mercury

Virgo is a mutable earth sign. Mutable means it adjusts to what is needed, and earth means it works with the practical and the concrete. With Virgo on the ascendant, people often meet someone tidy, polite and attentive to detail, who answers exactly what was asked. Clothes are clean and chosen with care, and the voice stays measured.

In late September the same sign climbs before sunrise, from 4:16 to 6:47 a.m. In June you need a late-morning birth. On the December solstice the window ends one minute before midnight in London, so a birth at 23:58 still counts.

London's window is about 19 minutes longer than New York's, and Los Angeles runs shorter than both. The table shows one day per season, so a birth between those dates needs its own date, which the calculator handles.
